Additionally, she finds joy in teaching art to children, youth, and adults, guiding them to express their emotions and connect through creativity. Jhoselyn’s current focus is illustrating hearts in dynamic forms, a theme inspired by Proverbs 4:23: "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Her work reflects her personal journey of healing and her faith in Jesus, who has transformed both her heart and her art. Each piece she creates celebrates love, resilience, and renewal, with the purpose of bringing healing and hope to others. Jhoselyn strives to inspire belief in dreams, healing, and the power of art as a bridge to something greater. For her, “Art is Life and Healing.”
Karen Whisler
Since her first art class in Elementary School, Karen has been drawn to the art of people. Emotion, expression, relatability, and most predominantly, the image of God which marks each person has been her fundamental inspiration. Karen is a graduate of Christopher Newport University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and Minor in Art History. Her inspiration for impressionistic, allegorical portraiture comes from her relationship with God, love for people, and her communities in Virginia and Washington DC. Although realism in portraiture is a component of her art, Karen introduces symbolic imagery and creative use of color to take each painting further. Subsequent themes that Karen explores in her imagery include unity, identity, and a childlike perspective on life.
Erika "Anat” Fritz
Erika “Anat” Fritz is a Jewish artist whose journey has taken her through profound spiritual transformation. Having grown up embracing her Jewish identity, she recently encountered Jesus in a place of deep darkness, a turning point that reshaped her faith and life. Embracing Christ has been a challenging yet powerful testimony, and Anat feels called to share her story with the world. She dreams of fostering unity between Jews and Christians, united in love for the Messiah. Anat stands firmly in this belief and dedicates her work to this vision. Inspired by chapter 53 of the book of Isaiah, which prophesies the person and sacrifice of the Messiah, she has created a sculpture honoring Jesus Christ, the one she believes is revealed in this profound prophecy.
